Its funny you mention Holyfield Tyson II because that fight probably has more to do with boxing's exist from the mainstream then anything one other fight.

Also, speaking of the late night talk shows. Tor Hamer awhile back, was on I think Jimmy Kimmel as well. So, that was surprisingly cool.

Bump. Yuri Foreman was on Kimmel last night and Floyd and Mosley were all over ESPN giving interviews. Today, 6ET Floyd and Mosley weigh in, it will be on ESPN or ESPNNews.

Yeah, Pac being described as the most exciting fighter since Mike Tyson has nothing to do with it.

Just saw a Mosley vs Mayweather commercial AD on ESPN during the Lakers vs Thunder game. That stuff seems unusually. Seems like Boxing is seeing a resurgence mainstream. It won't ever be able to kick through the door if we don't rid PPVs though.

Bump bump, more news about Yuri Foreman. ESPN E:60 on Tuesday (May 4th) will talk about Yuri Foreman's unusual story about being a Rabbi and a Boxer.

Interesting seeing all this coverage on Yuri Foreman over the past week or so. Could Yuri Foreman become a future star in Boxing?

Bump bump. Last couple of weeks Pacquiao and Mayweather have been talked about heavily on the TV. Last week ESPN showed the highlights of the Williams-Cintron fight, and now today ESPN showed the Paulie-Khan highlights, and even on ESPN.com it's one of the top headlines.

It depends. Local news here in STL usually comments on big fights, like Khan-Malignaggi today. I can guarantee that Alexander-Bradley will be writ up big in the Post Dispatch here in August. Can't wait to see it live :bbb

Really good thread. Keep it up!

Boxing isn't as weak here, but Khan/Malignaggi was on free TV and will do millions. Mitchell/Katsidis had 20,000 people there live. Both fights got mainstream attention for the weigh-ins.
