I have loved and followed boxing since as far back as i can remember, but cant help noticing those feelings are starting to deplete. I posted the day before broner-maidana stating how i thought maidana would throw the fight. Imo it was a fight broner couldnt win, and if i knew this, then broners team must also. So i jump to the assumption that maidana had been paid. I was wrong and am sooo happy i was. But it doesnt stop the fact that my 1st assumption was "fix". I had the same thought when it was announced barker-sturm would take place in germany( an english champ fighting a german in germany??? Cmon??? ) as it happened barker was "injured" during 2nd rd and could not continue. We have seen time and time again how corruption is ruining the sport. Yes i could stop watching but i love the sport and the unpredictable nature of the game. Styles make fights, but cash cows make results. In the last few months alone we have dubious decisions on both sides of the pond favouring the champ everytime, froch-groves broner-malinaggi but the list is endless. Yes i am bitter towards the sport i once loved as it is no longer a sport but a business and you are no better prepared to predict a winner in boxing as you are in wwe. Im a big fan of pbf but think alot of this is his fault. All this talk of protect the 0. Fukk the 0 and get in there with the best available. I love u boxing i always will, but youre breaking my heart.
