LOL this thread isn't that bad - surprised it turned into a dumping ground for $hit.

Power comes from the legs and core, NOT the shoulders. It doesnt matter if a guy has skinny legs..he generates the power through the legs as he drives the power up through his solid/strong core. It's all about technique , and technique begins with the legs.

Power comes from the turn of the hips which is facilitated by the feet/legs. Just because someone doesn't have the genetics to gain mass in their legs doesn't mean they don't have fast twitch muscles that facilitate an explosive pivot. Not a myth.

    Size doesnt matter in heavyweight...

Example: prime Ali would beat klitschko, joshua or Fury...

You make a good point but then shouldn't women be able to punch harder than men since their hips are larger and stronger to be able to go through child birth?

Another myth is that "In the heavyweight division, it only takes one punch". There are power punchers in every division that can end a fight with just one punch, it isn't exclusive to heavyweights or maybe heavyweights are too slow to get out of the way of punches so it looks like they score more knock outs

No because hip width doesn't translate into a more explosive punch. Males have more muscle fibers, on average more mass, higher bone density, and a punch of factors that go into the mass X acceleration equation.

Can't be surprised when most of the notorious ignorance on the forum is based on myth and fake news. That's the norm now, grown up petulant children with ignorant assumptions.
