Either you mixed up the memories, or that post was mistaken.
Frazier did show up in a fur coat & some fancy shoes, was effortlessly way too quick for Stallone, even without throwing with much force.
It would almost be a crime for a top HW to open up against a bloke that is fit & game but not a real boxer, lol!

Ernie knocked Sly across the ring and Smokin Joe cut his eye open.

A champion is whoever wins a world title fight, irrelevant whether they won by a round or win every round

Every punch a boxer throws is with intent so nothing lucky about them tbh

OK so it was BOTH Frazier AND Shavers. Nice.

Then Dolph Lundgren put in in a hospital. Poor Rocky.

Floyd was far too defensive and only fought aggressively here and there.

Thank you. I hate that ****. But as you said, I don't know if it's a myth because maybe some judges do take this nonsense into consideration when giving close rounds.

I do think lucky punches exist. There's randomness in boxing. Not all of a boxer's movements are perfectly calculated.

The myth that prime tyson was some kind of divine creature. Seriously Mike Tyson has not a single good win in his whole record.

i feel similarly. if there is a rd that is so close, i cant really separate them, then it should go to the champ. the champ has already proven his worth by winning the title under the same circumstances, so gets the benefit of the doubt, and the rd. equaling the champ loses you the title by seniority, you got to beat the champ.

That British fighters are unbeatable if they're in their prime, motivated and have trained hard and had a full 8-10 week camp. No fighter is unbeatable regardless of whether they're an iron-jawed savage punching British warrior or not.
