Why do people as if Oscar owes people fights. Oscar has given us the fans enough exciting fights. He always looked for challenges. The only people that want to see Oscar vs Margarito are the people that hate Oscar and think that Margarito can somehow knock him out. Oscar doesn't have to give Margarito ****.

Boxing definitely needs this fight, it's of course, a matter of whether or not Oscar does the right thing and accepts this fight. Make it happen, I don't care what they have to do to make it happen, let it happen. The last thing boxing needs is for The Golden Boy to fight a guy like Sergio Mora, who's a Chicano version of Paulie Malignaggi (5 KO's).

Man up, Oscar, and fight Marga.

I wouldn't say boxing 'needs' this fight but it could be good for boxing if Margo won, even better if he won convincingly by KO.

Millions of casual fans would watch this fight, fans who may never have heard of Margo. If these casual fans see where this guy has come from via the 24/7 show (poor upbringing, turning pro very young, etc) then they see this tough, unrelenting animal knock out the Golden Boy in an exciting match then they may want to see more of him. Hes basically a Rocky type of character which the casual fan tends to like.

If Margo go's on to fight Williams in a unification or even a rematch with Cotto it can only be good for the sport to have more of these fans watching it.

Nothing boring about it. Two great fighters with common opponents that have unfinshed business squaring off. What's not to like? Not to mention it's a much bettter legacy fight for Oscar than Margo is.

That's right it is Oscar needs to stay away from the top at 147 he's getting in the way of good fights. He needs to fight someone around his own age and Winky fits the bill.

Despite what i said in my last post (the fight being good for boxing) i won't blame Oscar if he decides not to fight Tony.

DLH has took many challenges before so we know he isn't a 'ducker'. Plus he is far from his prime and his main downfall is lack of stanima. If you lack stanima then an iron jawed brawler who can throw over 100 punches a round is the worst type of opponent for you.

If DLH wants an easier fight then i won't hold it against him.

wow that was a great argument. Margarito isn't on Oscar's level, skillwise or stardomwise. Margo gets knocked out in this one, he gets hit too much and Oscar is too accurate and powerful. Just because you sympathize Margarito it mean that he deserves a fight with Oscar.

Margarito isn't knocking Oscar out, he won't land enough on him. Some people are overestimating Margarito on the Cotto fight. People forget that Oscar also has an iron jaw.

That was almost two years ago and I was never a fan of the rematch.:patsch Why in the hell do you want Margo to face Oscar instead of Clottey or Williams?

If Margarito wins with Oscar he should retire also Winky in the whole package deal.

margo would eat that overated left hook for breakfast, oscar has a good left hook but its not a one hitter quiter, so the answer is yes he can take a flush left hook, over and over and over and over again ! :yep
