The shot he took in the first was very heavy . He showed great powers of recovery

I had it very close. Couple rounds in it either way. But if you really slow it down you can see Selby evading lots and landing his own counters.

Showed great stamina, belief and heart. He doesn't have power but that doesn't always matter if you can land and make opponent miss.

    Great fight though

Get the feeling Kennedy used to get beat up in sparring with askins looked scared. Chin in air circling the ropes was a matter of time. Used to spar Kennedy and he was heavier than me but I could still push him back and he always sat on ropes with chin in air . He done well though I think he's been out the ring too long he looked confident before

Selby came across as a complete moron in the post fight interview. Not sure I will bother to watch any of his fights again.

I've rewatched the knockdown a few times now and I can't really tell what happens, he goes to ground so quickly I'm not even sure which punch did it.

He moves into a right hook if I remember and it squashes his chin into his chest. Remind me of when calzaghe got dropped by Jones was moving in that direction and takes him to ground.

Think it's too early to say. I'd say Carl Frampton has a decent chin and remember Frampton was put down twice against Gonzalez in the first and Selby seems to have done the same thing Frampton did (i.e. win wide on the scorecards after a first round knockdown).

By all accounts he does seem to have poor power though which could be his downfall.

Think it's his style when you are constantly moving and changing angles it's near impossible to generate power. Much like lomenchenko he doesn't knock people clean out either

Compares himself to Mohammed Ali, then says:

'I don't even like boxing but if I did imagine how good I could be'

Dempsey (who was being a complete and utter nob throughout) is taken back by this and asks Selby to say it again which he does and then ask him 'what do you want to do instead of boxing?'. Selby: 'I just want to make money and that's it.'

Says he wont travel to Japan for his shot because he would have "lost before he got on the plane", despite getting wide cards himself in Cardiff.

his parting shot: 'being honest though, who likes getting punched in the face? Because I don't! I just like the cheques!"

Quite funny I suppose in hindsight, if you had just had a hard 12 round fight and then had to face a Paul Dempsey interview I would be pretty annoyed too.

Didn't see post interview but most boxers especially after a fight shouldn't be interviewed they always say some random crap
