Considering how Valero's story ended, I think a film is probably inevitable now.

I was trying to think of some more recently and I think a film centred on Resto would be quite good. The film could develop from an average fighter who wants to make it big for himself who is then taken advantage of and finds his career, and life, in tatters:-(. Jason Booth's life story would be a decent British film.

    Any more?:think

I have seen a film about the Louis Schmeling return and the politics behind it, the war and Hitler etc. Can't remember what it was called though.

Edwin Valero's "All that could've been" story would be tragic and dark but would ultimately make for a terrific movie.

Personally i dont think anybodys gona do a better job than Scorcese did on La Motta. Unless u get a fresh concept and a respected cast it can turn ugly very quick.

Ving Rhames as Marvin Hagler? :patsch

Does anyone think Morgan Freeman would make an awesome Emmanuel Steward?
