However, all of the above can be justified if you look at boxing as a business. Hatton made money in Manchester and was a millionare before he even fought Tszyu. Burns has made a few quid and won't be in a tough fight vs Broner on US soil next and will make money against a no hoper for a title. Calzaghes bank account also increased. Pac and Floyd are getting massive paydays avoiding each other. Haye picked up a nice cheque without going all out. All of these moves were smart business moves in a financial sense. I think we as fans see the sport as a sport. We love the sport of boxing. The fighters today see the sport as a BUSINESS. I don't have much of a point to make other than making that distinction.
