gotta be a bit of a worry that repeats of old football beats a british world champion in the ratings wonder which show was cheaper to produce - although it still could have got decent viewing figures for boxing

wonder how low the brian rose was it was up against boxing on two other channels aswell at the same time aswell

  3. Sky not having a good year with their smaller shows

    Burns a surprise for me

Yeh Rose going up against two bigger fights wont have helped.

273,000 is a big effort to beat. Burns will have done over 150k

Froch v Mack wouldn't have registered in the week Burns fought. Massive ratings for Sky that week. Wish they done Top 20 to give a clearer picture.

these viewing figures puts boxnations 200 thousand subscribers into perspective

more people subscribe to boxnation than regularly watch boxing on sky!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

im guessing the real figure of subscribers is the 7000 who watched the fights on loadedtv

I think one of Lennox Lewis' early title defences was on a channel called Wire TV (cable only). Needless to say that only was seen by hundreds.
