Good article,what little is known is both actually do better when they are on at the same time,ufc does better and did better when a pacman fight was on because they didn't go head to head with a main boxing card like that.
Do you mean around the same time? Because I would assume there is a cross over fan base that won't watch both. Having the events on around the same time can get casuals and fight fans into the fighting spirit but putting them on at the same time just divides the whole lot. A bit like what boxing is obsessed with doing to itself right now.
