Aussie Adam Watt wins vacant Commonwealth cruiserweight title by TKO in round 4 of 12.

Watt was never not one to trouble the judges with decisions - his 18 bouts all ending prematurely for 14 wins and 4 losses.

Kostya retains his IBF super lightweight title on PTS over 12 rounds.

Ingemar Johannson v Floyd Patterson – New York City, USA.

Johannson wins the World heavyweight title by KO in round 3 of 15.

In an amazing third round Johannson floors Patterson a total of 7 times.
