True, but this is 'boxing's worst beatings' not 'most vicious KOs'.

That was brutal, but you have to wonder about Duran's hand wraps.

We can wonder all we want, but it was brutal!

Another recent brutal beating, although it didn't last long, was the Alfredo Angulo vs Harry Joe Yorgey fight. Angulo dished out a massive amount of punishment inside those 2 and a half rounds.

I remember Miguel Cotto giving Alfonso Gomez an absolute ****in hiding a few years ago.

Even at the weekend Erik Morales gave Cano a vicious beating. I think it was the 9th round where Morales even asked the ref to stop the fight.

Yeah Wayne was past it,but he still had a jaw, which i can only assume was made out of adamantium.

Prime Naz and Morales couldnt dent it.

As for worst beatings,I think a lot have been mentioned.

Most Klitschko fights tend to end up looking like that because they dont go in for the kill early.

They pummel their opponents for 10 rounds before stopping them.

Yep, sad indeed. The Irish guy was Billy Collins. I believe his dad had a lot to do with Billy's deepening depression after that fight. His dad had initiated lawsuits against Resto, Panama Lewis, Madison Square Garden and a few others and he kept his son from boxing to see how the suits panned out.
