Much prefer box nation pundits/commentary to sky. No bull**** sensationalism or agendas like sky, just real boxing men being themselves and calling fights as they see them. And Buncey is hilarious, great man for calling fights too.
I had GGG ahead throughout the fight and never thought once that Jacobs was winning the fight with his negative tactics. Jones was a mile off with his fight commentary on Sat. The fight stats back this opinion up - check the figures out.
True.. I'm not as confident anymore that he beats Canelo. 3/4 fights ago he was rampant and id put money on him breaking canelo down by the 8th. I think the amateur game and pro game combined is catching up with him now
I personally like Barry Jones - I think he is one of the better commentators and analysts out there It will be intersting to see what BT bring to the table with new commentators etc - surely they will add to what BN have or get in a new team
Barry seems like a nice bloke but he's a more than a little monotone - perhaps that's his way of finally trying to put someone to sleep!
Andre Ward and Paulie Malignaggi are the best iv'e seen recently. Lennox was awful last time out on ITV sport.
If someone who 'knows the sport' more than Barry calls it differently, does that mean we can then disregard his opinion? I've said many times in the past I very much enjoy his punditry and having met him he is a lovely guy. I disagreed with his calling of this fight though. Will now await "bet you've never even laced up a pair of gloves in your life"
