They obviously didn't provide details at the presser Maloney was scheduled to do 10 for loaded plus his price shows on boxnation,for me that's overkill.for example he could do 3 Liverpool shows and 3 north east shows with price and dickinsons being the sellers Then he must stack the cards as much as possible.in Newcastle get satchell,McDermott,Cornish,Danny price and more all fighting.this will interest the targeted audience who are hardcore boxing fans but for this to work the standard has to be high The same for hatton 6 shows with Martin Murray against international opposition and build buckland to be a headliner.get Dickens,towers,askin,foster jnr etc all active fighting on 4 of these shows each and I think we would be in for some decent viewing especially of they are run on Fridays adjacent to hearns Saturday shows But if they produce the same as their worst sky output(one worthy fight plus loads of imports) they will be heavily criticised and their involvement will be counter productive to ****** and his fight back against Hearn I hope that these 2 proud boxing men are hungry to prove sky wrong and know they can't rely on having a tv deal anymore
If boxnation can produce 20 shows domestically plus sky's 20 and hennessays half a dozen if all good then you are looking at an average of nearly 1 televised show a week and you have to imagine the standard to be half decent add In boxnations international goodies and I'm a happy man
If they're putting on shows as individual promoters then its not that much of an exciting prospect. However if they decide to pool their resources and co-promote on a lot of cards it could be very good.
I'm shocked there has been little talk of Frank's interview with iFilm on here where he slightly loses it. On subject I actually think the domestic cards will feature a semi competitive fight and no end of walkovers. Likely only three or four shows each a year. The presser last week looked awkward- a bit last chance saloon especially from Hatton.
Hennessey's new deal is for four cards a year minimum with options for further fights- be they live or on delay.

I would much rather see 1 show a month and it be cross promotion with at least 5 big fights. It's going to be interesting to see if boxing is a complete joke when you've got 'the best of the rest' all under one TV channel and they still put on **** fights, weak cards, with no depth.
