I think you may well have at least partly hit the nail on the head there, Gaz.

  2. I don't give a ****..., its showing Cotto v Margarito and its still FREE !!!!

  3. Maybe it wont be but you still haven't shown that people will watch **** fights regulary providing the production is great.

Are you old enough to remember when Sky were promoting James Hare as a World Champion and our best fighters rarely fought each other? Boxing was getting it's worse ever TV audiences then despite Sky putting on the best production the sport had ever had.

I hope you're wrong, the more boxing coverage we can get here in the UK, the better in my eyes. I suspect that many of the fights they will be covering wouldn't have been shown elsewhere anyway.

Also, the more competition there is out there, the far better it is for the consumer.

  5. Was really looking forward to that until I realised that Boxnation wouldn't be showig it in HD.

    ****, can't be bothered now.

Coverage was great tonight and Keys lack of knowledge and his constant cutting Bunce off ,was quite entertaining for me

Oh no, surely not, Cotto Vs Margarito, for free!!

  8. If Sky give up boxing then Sky give up boxing. Fury vs Chisora got something like 3.5 million viewers and those are the sort of figures that TV bigwigs take notice of.

Channel 5 have Hennessey, Boxnation is oned by the ******s, ITV would happlily buy up the Prizefighter series and all the other promoters will find airtime.

It's never going to happen, but I think if they lowered their price to a fiver a month, got themselves on all the platforms (Freeview etc), they'd have an absolute army of followers.

The entire production needs more cowbell.

  12. Frank ****** is, first and foremost, an excellent business man. If it fails to get the numbers it needs to justify it's subscription status he will seek advertisers to allow it to become free to air again.

If that doesn't work he will negotiate with broadcasters. Mick Hennessey recently had no contract in place with a British broadcaster but do you really think Frank ****** will ever be in that position?

Seriously, I can't believe that you seemingly want any channel dedicated to boxing to fail?

Guys, being new here if this guy is the resident troll please let me know.

I enjoyed the show to be fair. Dont really like keys, but bar him i didnt mind everyone.

Dont know about lighting, production and all that bollocks, but i got to watch a lot of fights, were if it was on sky i would have just seen the main two and replays of weigh ins ive seen a million times and funky graphics(!).

Totally agree, I enjoyed it too.

*Keys would be my moot point also, I don't think he fits in, but I just go and open another drink when he's on or something anyway.
