So we return full circle to "brutally unfair to Alexander". He is every bit as deserving of the potential crack at Mayweather as Khan if not more so. They need to have a box-off. Neither is truly deserving as it stands right now. Khan running off a streak of Molina/Diaz (close)/Alexander or Alexander off a streak of Matthysse (controversial)/Maidana/Bailey/Purdy/Khan becomes a credible foe and roughly as 'deserving' as it gets for welters getting a crack at Mayweather nowadays.

I agree with the point that Khan hasn't done anything to merit a fight against Mayweather, but I also thought that Ortiz, Guerrero and Alvarez hadn't done anything either.

khan isnt a bad fighter but i just dont think he earned it so im dissapointed. i think alexander legitley earned it . hes fought a ton of good comp

Let's not get worked up yet since May 2014 is a long time from now. I wouldn't be quick to jump the gun yet until you start hearing sources from Dan Rafael, Richard Schaefer, Leonard, and so on. It's to early to tell but if anyone that is going to be in the front running should only be Danny Garcia.
