At that time, Campbell was more proven, and has more name recognition, than Alexander.

I was at his fight against Holt. A journeyman, no. An ATG, hell no.

On the subject of future opponents Bradley said "There is Amir Khan. Malignaggi is a bigger draw than Devon....You have Victor Ortiz, who I think right now is a bigger fight than Devon. There is Hatton"
The way Alexander destroyed Urango and Witter is more impressive that anything he has done in his career. Alexander called him out again after Urango. Bradleys responds by quickly setting up a fight at another weight.
Tim Bradley wants no part of Devon Alexander.

Bradley is not yet, or may never be on their level! Both Mayweather and Pacquiao are at an elite level now in boxing, Bradley is not widely recognised outside of boxing...yet. They are multiple weight world champions, beating very big names along the way. Bradley is not elite! He is the recognised #1 140lber, but he is in a very exciting division were he still needs to prove himself against some very talented boxers. Just because you claim he can beat them all, it doesn't mean he will!
If Pacquiao were to move down to 140 in the summer before a fall bout with Mayweather, and he takes on Bradley, I see Pacquiao winning impressively. The Mayweather bout will not happen unless Bradley moves up to 147, and he is unproven at that weight.

Lamont Peterson held his own against Mayweather in a spar...so this means Peterson would have a good chance of beating Mayweather in a real bout?...don't talk nonesense! Peterson would have been going all out, whilst Mayweather would have been working on different tactics for the bout.
Although Bradley was very impressive against Peterson, he still hasn't got the names on his resume or the fanbase to command a bout with either Pacquiao or Mayweather. And after Alexander's impressive last outing, his place at #1 140lber isn't that secure either...!

The fight with Abregu I think is risky at this point.

    Power?????????

Otherwise, you will be just another Diaz, good until a certain point, but would never cross the line between greatness and good.

I'll buy this. When he burst on the scene there were a lot of questions in spite of the very good first impressions he made on people.

A lot of those questions have been answered.

He has it all - tangible or intangible. Everything except one-punch KO power.

There are different kinds of power.

He doesn't have show-stopping, fight-changing (in the "in a single instant" sense), sleep-inducing power.

He is physically strong at 140, however. Enough of his punches landing flush (and a good many of them do, against most opponents) will hurt plenty enough to earn and keep their respect.

Compare to guys like Clottey, Funeka, even Adamek.

Not monster punchers at the divisions they've elected to campaign in, but strong enough to do what they do and beat a good amount of talent.

ATG? I don't think so. He's a damn good fighter, but I can't see it. He doesn't have the power or the punch resistance to lay future claim, and while his overall skills are highly admirable they aren't mind blowing. I disagree.

The fight won't be at 147. It may be a few pounds over 140. Abregu has fought all of his fights above 140. I think Bradley is testing the waters with a heavier guy. Abregu can punch. This will not be an easy fight. If Bradley makes this one a blowout. He is on his way to really being avoided with the exception of Alexander.

It's funny people say Bradley doesn't have any power. He has hurt every opponent he has faced since arriving on the big scene. He dropped Witter,(something Alexander or Judah didn't do) I mention them because those are the only 3 to beat Witter. He dropped Peterson(something that just doesn't happen). If Bradley beats Abregu that would make two undefeated fighters in a row. Really who else does that? If he faces Alexander after that it would be 3 undefeated fighters in a row. If Bradley defeats these guys as mentioned, then he just simply can't be denied any further. Real talk!

ATG? Hell no. He's a good fighter but has a long, long way to go.

He will have several opportunities to make that case at 140 lbs.

You probably didn't hear the news. After what Alexander said after his last fight, Bradley did respond. He talked with team Alexander and said he would like to do battle with Devon. Cunningham said they have already made plans for a fight this summer and they will get back to him toward the end of the year. Cunningham is still sour about what Zab did to Spinks in their backyard. He wants Devon to finish Zab who still has a name and has only lost once at 140. It's called leading up fights. Bradley's handlers got criticized for doing the same thing. Be patient. I don't think either guy is afraid of the other. The fight will happen if something tragic doesn't happen to either fighter.
