Yeah Bradley and JMM both have the charisma of a potato. Though I actually like Bradley, and will probably buy his next fight also unless its vs a tomato can.
Bradley has the personality of table cloth, and Marquez isn't that big a star. No one outside of the hardcore fans gave a damn about this fight, even though it was very good!
I agree. In this fight we had two of the 3 best Welters in the world going at it in a high skilled match where we weren't certain who the winner was going to be. With FMJ, you always know he will win lol. Too good for his own good sometimes...
I was wondering which one I should use at work today. Chose to go with the table cloth, one of our sub contractors is cold as ice, never laughs and rarely talks to other guys if it's not about work. Got a few chuckles, thanks guys.
I thought TR did a **** poor job of marketing this fight, but I guess they didn't want to dump too much money into it knowing that not many casuals give a **** about either of these guys... Especially not Bradley.
PPV buys are hard to come by unless you are the big two. This is right in line with reasonable expectations. It didn't bomb. It also outdrew the last few UFC PPVs.
TO put things in perspectivebased on what has been reported) JMM/Bradley @ 375K(rumoured) PPV's was profitable. Floyd/Guerrero @ 870K (rumoured) PPVs lost money. :conf
Mayweather made far more for that fight than Bradley and Marquez made combined, plus I'm sure they spent much more money marketing Mayweather-Guerrero, so that makes sense.
