In Green: What's the point of him competing in his natural weight class? Why should we be asking this question, Reg? Floyd proved he could compete at 154, and since so many favor him against everyone at 147, why don't we say "Who's a tougher challenge at 147 than Martinez would be at 154? It's pointless to fight people we assume he outboxes if he can fight at 154." It's his natural weight class. To me, I see Pac can compete at 147 while skating on thin ice, but I think he goes up against someone like Mosley, we will all see how very much he does not belong there and I'm not sure it's worth it.

Again, how can you have said it's pointless for him to fight in the stacked 140-pound division based on the perception that he would dominate there? Don't we want champs to dominate or is it necessary to see them all move up in weight as far as possible? Maybe because the MW division is poor, Pavlik needs to stop messing around and go to 168. He beat Taylor within the SMW limit, after all. Isn't it pointless to have him stay at MW? Are we walking around telling other champs not to perform in their natural class because it's not the bigger challenge and they're never the underdog?

In Blue: I feel Alexander would be. But I never said Bradley wouldn't be tough and am not the one who said Pac would destroy him either (though I would in fact favor Pac by knockout).

Mayweather fought once at 154. Pacquiao has fought 3 times at 147 compared to once at 140 which is supposedly his natural weight class. Not only that, but the bigger and better fights were at 147 for Mayweather. It would be senseless for someone to say he would destroy everyone at 147 and then suggest he fight there if the bigger and better fights were at 154. I think a fight between Pac and Bradley would be a good fight. That's the toughest fight at 140 for Pac. However, if you're of the belief that Pac would steamroll Bradley, why would you want to see Pac at 140 when he's been fighting more often at 147, and when Bradley would reperesent his toughest opponent at 140?

What exactly consitutes a "natural" weightclass? Pac has been beat all of his opponets at 147 with ease. So unless you're telling me he has been handpicking guys, I see no reason why size should deter Pac from fighting anyone at 147.

You're not paying attention. I said IF YOU BELIEVE that Pac would steamroll Bradley, then you would have to believe that Pac fighting at 140 is pointless. Pac has fought 3 times at 147 compared to once at 140. Unless you believe that there are better fights for Pac at 140 than 147, why would you want to see him go down in weight?

You're comparing apples and oranges. Pavlik is a career MW. He has fought only twice recently above 168 and has had mixed results. Pacquiao, on the other hand, has fought once at 140. He has fought 3 times at 147 and has won all three with ease. You're talking about two entirely different scenarios.

My original comment was aimed at people who feel Bradley is an easy fight for Pacquiao. And I firmly dissagree with you. Bradley would be a much stiffer challenge for Pac than would Alexander.

Watch his interview with Kellerman after the Clottey fight. There have also been numerous other reports where he has stated he wants Mayweather/Mosley winner. These are from Manny's mouth remember, whilst talks of all other opponents (Margarito, Valero, JMM etc) have come from other people in his camp. But Manny himself has expressed no serious desire other than to fight the May 1st combatants. He's earned that right. The dude's resume is stupendous, with a who's who list of victims. He's not obliged to fight a poxy Bradley when he has a Floyd Mayweater in his sights.

As for the drug testing, well somone is gonna have to make leeway, and it may have to be Floyd as the burden of this obviously rests on him.

That's all a matter of opinion. My point is simple, if Mayweather is insisting on drug testing, then Pacquiao saying he wants to fight Mayweather is meaningless unless he's willing to give in. At the same time, it's meaningless for Floyd to come out and say he wants to fight Pac unless he's willing to give in.

I disagree with so much on here for so many reasons, I don't even want to take the time to go through it. We'll have to agree to disagree, Reg.

bradley does excell in the attributes you listed, but on the flip side hes hittable, and hes been hurt & dropped by lesser fighters than pacquiao,he'd give pac a hard fight but ultimately he'd be beaten,i dont think pac would or has ducked him
