Did Diaz ever tell him to hold when he's hurt?

He was trading pitter patter punches with a legitimate puncher whilst legitimately hurt, what on earth was his corner doing?

Eventually he will get knocked out cold for all his toughness.

He was doing it to regain the fans favor. He won't do it when he knows the opponent is too strong.

I mean its one thing grabbing your nuts and biting down on your mouthpiece and going to war, but don't do it while your legs are all over the place. Common sense is it not?

If I was in his corner I'd be pretty concerned with that response.

He responded the same way against Kendall Holt, only Kendall actually couldn't find him again.

if his opponent would have shortened his punches on the inside, bradely would have gotten knocked out cold in those exchanges.

Seemed to me like he was fighting with a major chip on his shoulder.

Bradley is turning into Meldrick Taylor. If you can box for 12 rounds, then do it. It makes no sense to take that kind of punishment when you don't have to.

I seriously thought he was unconscious at one point and it was muscle memory and his subconscious that was throwing punches.

Funny i had the exact same thought, i was looking closely at Bradley and his stare just seemed completely vacant.
I was wondering wtf is keeping him up and throwing.

    No.

Bradley was getting through Ruslan easy when Bradley stuck to the gameplan.

If Bradley were to fight Matthyse, he'd outbox Lucas. Bradley clearly has a solid chin to be able to last against him, clearly better than Judah's chin.

Yeah. He needs to call upon his slick and black roots.

Diaz told him to box and when Bradley did he was winning pretty easy, but kept underestimating Ruslan and almost got stopped. Marquez or Lucas would of ko'd Bradley last night IF Bradley went toe to toe with them. Bradley just wanted to show his heart which is his strong point and show he could be exciting too, but it almost cost him. Originally a pressure fighter, Bradley could easily outbox him, but chose to go,toe to toe at times. Bradley thinkin he's Erik Morales lol. Ruslan DID punch himself out, but Bradley noticed alil too late and even with his minimal power could of stopped him too, but Ruslan hid it well. I think Bradley did enough to win, but made it harder to win by not listening to Diaz.

SPOT ON. I was trying to think of a good comparison and thats exactly it. Bradley will ruin himself if he keeps that nonense up. Choosing to slug with absolutely no defense, he would put his hands up or tucks his chin even if he got rocked. Was rediculous.

Thats what I do believe you saw him fight the smart fight with Pacquiao and because that fight was won the way it was, Bradley IMO wanted to gain some fans and some respect by allowing this to be a tuff fight.

Huge gamble on Bradleys part but damn that man has an Iron chin.

Bradley's always done that, Ruslan just made him pay like the other guys haven't.

Dude was fighting on pure instinct for long stretches of time- he probably told himself he wanted to put on a good show for the fans going in, but that went out the window as soon as he got floored in round 1.

How he fought was just Bradley being Bradley. Usually, after a few rounds, Bradley frustrates the other guy so much he just doesn't want to be there anymore so he won't throw, and that's what leads to the one-sided, less entertaining fights. Tim's never been a safety first fighter, although he can do it for stretches. Just not in his nature.
