they should split it 50/50. after all it's Pac that's desperate for the fight this time. plus JMM always gets good numbers with Pac, and the demand for the next one should be huge

Pac is still the draw Marquez fights someone else he is on regular HBO OR ON ppv DOING 300,000 BUYS MAX. Manny fights Bradley that is on PPV does over 500,000

Pacquiao wants to fight in September and if Marquez doesn't want to fight him, then Arum wants to make the most money possible so he will have Pacquiao face Bradley. Marquez is on the outside looking in and will be forced to fight Pacquiao for under $10 million but it's still a career high payday for him.

I get that, but again it's JMM that has all the leverage. If they can't make it worthwhile for him, he walks Plus his profile has grown a lot, he can probably carry a PPV now (not a huge one), And 5 should sell way better than any other fight available, win win.

Well what if Pac wants Bradley? Would that put some pressure on Marquez to take the Pac fight? I doubt Marquez fights Alvarado.

Exactly. Arum is more likely to make the Pac Bradley rematch esp since Bradley just had a foty type fight. And Marquez would be left out in the cold.

You gotta believe JMM means more to Pac than all the other choices put together. JMM will only take it for an outsized payday.

Exactly. Pac Bradley will put pressure on Marquez to fight Pacquiao. But i think Maruez has put Pac behind him and he'd rather sit out, maybe take a tune-up and face the winner.

Agree with the last few, Rios loss gives Marquez no leverage. If he doesn't want Pacquiao then Bradley Pacquiao again. Bradley knows he can make much more fighting Pacquiao and Marquez is a high risk low reward. Marquez would end up on the outside with nothing to show money-wise for his KO.

Add to the fact that Arum stated Bradley was fine but shouldn't look to fight too soon and should recover when asked if Bradley left something behind against Provodnikov then it all points to Marquez taking the $10m, maybe $12m at a push and accept the Pacquiao fight

It will become official next weekend at the Macau Top Rank card

Would prefer to see Marquez/Bradley...a new match up would be good. Tired of the reruns, rematches, and returns right now...

This is a dream fight of mine. It gives Floyd meaningful opponent within the division again.
