I would like to see him against Kovalev. Braehmer has fast hands and for sure a bit more pop in it than Cleverly. And as Kovalev is easy to hit, this could be interesting, especially since Braehmer can take a punch.

His promoter (Universum) forced his stablemate Erdei to vacate the tiltle and move up to cruiser so that Brähmer was given the belt without defeating anyone. He lost his belt because he dropped out of fights numerous times (on short notice). I like the guy, he is always fun too watch. But he has serious stamina issues and his defense is non-existent starting with the middle rounds. Gutknecht is not a world-level fighter and it was a life-and death struggle.
