Brian Rios will just walk right through Murray, In no way Murray has any chance Brian Rios just to big to strong and will back murray down and put the hurt and KO him, the fight won't last long good thing for Murray maybe the beating won't be that bad for him.

    "Ouch"

Rios has a terrible defence and if he continues to fight the way he does, he could get shot overnight, unfortunately for John, it wont be against him.

Yeah, Flea effectively ended this thread with his first reply. John Murray is ****ed.

As a side note, I have no problem with Rios fighting Murray. Murray isn't a terrible fighter, it's just all of his strengths are negated against Rios who, like Flea Man says, is bigger, stronger, and more skilled. This is a man who has fought Anthony Peterson, Miguel Acosta, and Urbano Antillion in the space of a year. One soft touch before stepping it up against either Gamboa or Guerrero is not an issue as far as I'm concerned.

I really don't like Gamboa in the Rios matchup. I love Yuriorkis but Rios is too big IMO.

Rios inside 2 rounds IMO. Better in every single department.

^^^^ **** Gamboa, fighting every 6 months is pissing me off and especially when not even against great opposition.

I'm with you. Gamboa has been knocked on his ass at Featherweight a few times. He's a very talented fighter, but he's never fought anyone as strong or as hard-hitting as Brandon Rios. Rios is a massive Lightweight, it has to be said.

I'm not too worried about Gamboas chin....at his weight. Rios will walk through him and savage him inside the distance.

And yes BoxingAnalyst, Gamboa has taken the **** recently. But apart from the always M.I.A Chris John he has established himself as the best 126lber in the World (**** Chris John) and done a job ok pretty much everyone he's faced.

I'd much rather see him fight Nonito than Rios :-(

He'll be fine at 126lbs and 130lbs, but stepping up to Lightweight to take on one of the divisions outstanding performers, and someone who could really be fighting at 140lbs in the not so distant future is a big, big ask. Especially for a fighter that hasn't really looked infaliable even at the lower weights against lesser fighters than Rios. Big ask.

Donaire vs Gamboa would be epic. Sign me up.

Even at 140 he'd be cutting **** loads. You seen him stood next to Omar Henry? Jeez.....

But yeah, agree with all of the above. If Nonito wipes out Vasquez and Nishioka (easily done if you look at fighters invloved/styles) and Gamboa can still make 126 comfortably it's one of the few real 'Super fights' out there IMO.

    I hope Nishioka beats Donaire. He won't, but I'm a fan. :D
