Maidana has nothing to do with Rios I was asking your opinion on the matter and I agree Maidana fights dirty in close he did it with Ortiz and cayo also.

sorry i didn't direct it at you.

but yeah maidana is dirty but i dont know if he is dirty intentionally like bradley though as to me it looks like he just isn't well schooled, hopefully that will change now that he's training with rudy perez one of the best coaches in boxing.

Rios is a boundary B+/B- fighter...I dont see him beating any top 140lbers just yet...

Heck, quitters alexander and ortiz will even beat him in my opinion, unless they quit again...lol

    Like Maidana did?

Are you stupid or do you just have a selective memory?

rios just beat the number 1 rated lightweight, has a very good amateur pedigree hardly b level, he used tp beat ortiz's ass when they used to spar.

ortiz is a b level fighter with a c level fighters heart.

just because he beat acosta? com'on...who did acosta beat other than questionable antillon? Rating rios high because of the acosta fight is insane, he may be on the right track but not yet...

if ortiz fight smart with heart, no doubt he beats rios...the kid got mad skills but no heart...

I think Rios made a huge statement in that fight. I was going for Acosta, but just how he overcame Acosta arsenal and skill and then not only controlled the fight but knock him out. Yeah Acosta did fight anyone really of name, but he was a damn good fighter. He showed world class talent in defeating Urbano.

Now I'm not saying he'll knock out Khan I'm just saying give the man his props.

    questionable antillon?

    seriously?

antillon was an undefeated contender rated in the upper half of top 10 at lightweight, after getting knocked out by acosta he went onto have an absolute war with the wbc title holder humberto soto.

remind me what maidana has done except for beat the "questionable" ortiz?

if a maidana win can elevate khan so high why cant beating the number one lightweight do the same for rios?

Khan is elevated in his division not the division above also the rankings in the light weight division dont mean much considering the big boys havnt fought each other.

The light welter division Maidana has fought Kotelnick Ortiz and Khan all rated highly.

Khan fought Kotelnik Mallinagi and Maidana

Kotelnik has fought Maidana Khan Alexander etc.

the light weight boys dont seem to be making the big fights.

Rumour is Rios is fighting Barrera next.

I hate that cocky kid but i do give him props, it was a great win and he's on the right track to go somewhere big...BUT right now I still cant rate him high since he needs a LOT of improvement especially on his defense..

I gave the kid enough props but not like others which is too much...someone even said that nobody's beating rios in 135-140lbs :patsch

khan is elevated above his division, there are people talking about him beating bertoe and floyd:patsch

kotelnik was the weakest belt holder, the only reason he gets any hype is because of getting robbed against that quitter and getting schooled by khan.

junior witter beat the crap outta him and was given alot of **** for it.

hell no the punches look at the took from Maidana there's no way he knocks out Khan before the Maidana fight I would consider it but the fight proved Khan's chin and heart is a little better then he we thought

Anyway, Acosta found him all the time with right hands, Khan will too, and khan has more pop and speed.
