nicky cook vs Steven Luevano cook was getting murdered by body shots from round 1 mayhave been down in the first couple of rounds from body shot but made it late into the fight may have round 10/11 just really brave i thought
Graham Earl v Michael Katsidis, I think his team threw in the towel at one point only for it to be ignored.
not satating the obvious fights , one which sticks out in my mind was jamie coyle vs ryan rhodes a couple of years ago. coyle just didnt give up even though he had no chance and the post fight interview at the end brought a tear to the eye!
ward v neary, remember watching it,and thinking **** me,wouldent like one in the gut of either of them
i don't know, looks like they did the homework, the bloke who played neary looked and boxed like him, although ward looked **** all like ward
What are people's thoughts on Maurice Hope's effort against Benitez? Maurice had a lot distractions before that fight, so did well to last into the latter rounds with an incredible Benitez? or Hopelessly (no pun intended) poor effort getting himself on the hightlight reels?
Great, great pick mate. Najib was so gracious in his post-fight interview too. One of those fights that takes you back. Magnificent. I think Barry Mac went beyond bravery versus Steve Cruz. 15 rounds in that heat, nothing went right, dragged himself off the canvas when he had absolutely nothing left, a brilliant fight. Was gutted at the time of course.
Bravery and Bugner are normally an Oxymoron. But one summer night in 1973 Bugner showed what might of been, when he worked his butt off and took his licks, dropping a decision to Smokin' Joe.
