To be fair most of the annoying Irish lot have exited the Brit forum and seemingly gone from ESB altogether.... probably because both Dunne and Munroe got chinned in title fights so there wasn't much worth arguing about. Yep, Cowdell's performance against Sanchez is a great call. Pat gave a great account of himself and actually caused Salvador a few problems, the very few times Sanchez struggled a little at that level, similar to the Ford fight.
Personally, just for heart....i would say Williams has the most heart that any british boxer has ever shown....even when his arm was dislocated and hanging....he still fought on and knocked the guy out...and then the vitali and samil sam fight...thats what you call a warriors heart!
Yeah, Sanchez also had his issues with Ruben Castillo. I think Sanchez is a guy that fought to the level of his opponents though.
Yeah good shout that. Tony was a quality fighter, but trying to trade was a brave move that never worked against the Marvelous one. It was a fight that showed me the different levels in boxing.
