Thank god I like Rashad he seems like a good dude but id rather see Machida knock him out cold agian then see Rashad or Phil Davis lay on top of each other and throw really bad strikes. Plus it puts us closer to the Machida/Jones fight alot of us want.
Agreed. I'm also glad that Jones ended up fighting Rampage instead of Rashad. Much more interesting fight. Unlike a lot of other MMA fans, I don't really dislike Rashad. I actually think that he takes way too much **** considering that there are much worse people in the sport if you really care about personalities, but I have no desire to see him mixed up in the title picture at 205 right now.
Im also happy that Rampage is fighting Jones instead of Rashad. I dont think either is a more complete or better fighter then Jones but Rampage is the far more dangerous opponet which makes this fight a bit more exicting. I think Machida is the worst matchup for Jones of all Light Heavies so I really really hope that fight is what comes out of these 2 bouts. I like Rashad as well hes a good man, a hard worker and very talented fighter. However im not exicted to see him in big fights I dont think his striking can match up and his style can be very boring and there arent many old guys with shaky chins competing at 205 anymore like Liddell.
Cool i wouldn't mind seeing evans KTFO again plus i rather see machida vs jones next than rashad-jones.

I might be alone in this but I'm backing Rashad to avenge the loss the aura Machida once had has long gone Shogun completely shattered It. In the 1st fight Rashad was completely in love with his stand up skills and didn't mix it up at all I fully expect Rashad to mix It up in this fight and possibly edge a decision.
Great news. Im hoping Machida has kept in top shape for this. He has some tough fights if he wants to be LHW champion again.
yea i agree and a trilogy with shogun would be sick!!!! I think machida has also more offensive power now more crane kicks hopefully if there is a rematch with shogun.
Ugh, Machida vs. Evans again? I don't want to see that ****. Machida's just gonna derail Evans and Rashad's not gonna ever fight for the title. This is Bones' ****ing fault. OH I HAVE A HAND INJURY, wait no, I'll still fight. So he gets to fight Rampage who jumps the ****ing line and Evans is left with Davis where he once again loses his opportunity for the number one spot. Put him against Jones, man. **** Rampage, and **** Machida. I would rather see Rashad vs. Rua but it's obviously not possible. I'm bored of rematches that are too soon or don't even need to fight again.
