Feel free to go on, please. I can pick this stuff apart all night. Didn't you just post "look at the whole career"? Lets do that. Holmes fought more top 10 fighters and those guys fought more often against other top 10 comp than today's fighters. This is a fact. Care to dispute it?

Is it a fact that he had only one opponent? You actually just proofed my argument; people scrutinize active heavyweights but only remember the highlight clips of the historical figure heavyweights.

Like it or not, Holmes era was dismissed as being crap during its active years by boxing journalists. If you think "this era stinks" is anything new then you really must be 13 years old.

I'm not scrutinizing the fighter(s) I'm scrutinizing the era. I don't blame the klits, but it is what it is, and what I posted is an unarguable fact.

I know it was, just as others have been. But you can, and I have proven through numbers why this era is worse.

(Yawn) Your opinion is a joke that has been decimated time and again on this forum. I don't even read your posts anymore, just laugh when I see your name.

Calling heavyweights of the past not really heavyweights because they we're under 200lbs. Its a FACT they fought in the heavyweight division. Now be a man of your word and never post again. :rofl

I read "SOUR GRAPES" on this forum every night..................the reason some claim the heavyweight division is not good is the fact that The Klitschkos have been beating up all the other heavyweights....................as soon as both Klitschkos retire and if the "sour grape" bigots get their boxer to a title, then they will claim that this time has the best heavyweights by far. Watch and see...............

Ali gave 6-0 Spinks a title shot and lost. That sums up the quality of that era.

That's why they made CW division because "heavyweights" like that could no longer compete in the new era of superheavyweights.

You're kidding right? Wlad is the only redeeming factor in this era. If contenders don't start fighting each other more often the division with be in worse shape than ever when Wlad retires.

Wlad is the only good heavyweight out there now that Vitali is gone. When he retires it will be nothing but bum fights

I will miss Vitali.....................however, Vlad will finish cleaning out the division. Vlad is so much better than most biased Americans will give him credit for, I've see all his fights, he is awesome..............

No, 7-2 against 4 top 10 ATG's sums up the era.
