But it was his choice to do that. It's not like fate dropped a hammer on him for no reason.

It's not rocket science really: he should sue cause GGG just lost about 12 million dollars off a signed contract via Canelo cheating out. There are several precedents that ended in a VERY substantial compensation.

It is so hard to separate two completely different things? GGG vs. whoever steps in come May 5 for far less money - a different thing. Clenelo kindly asking for a rematch if and when he's allowed to fight - a different thing. GGG suing for breach of May 5 fight contract signed by Canelo - there's a multi-million dollar case in it.

Would you throw several million dollars you are entitled to via a signed and sealed legal document out of the window? Forget anything other than THAT singed contact. It was signed. Canelo breached. GGG should sue. GGG will get a huge settlement. That's why we have the law, to not allow PED cheats wonder about like they feel to. They gonna pay, if they gonna play dirty namsayin?

^^Plus Clenelo broke the contract by cheating and then by literally withdrawing.

1- Canelo's test was ruled well within the limits of having eaten a steroid-fed Mexican steak.

2- All steroids were legal at one time.

3- GGG had 5 week's notice. Povetkin was popped the week of the fight.

And guys don't take one drug, they GET BUSTED for one drug. They take a whole coctail of performance enhancers, diuretics and masking agents, that is prescribed to them by a doctor and probably a geneticist SPECIFICALLY to beat drug tests. They just happen to be SO SLIGHTLY off with their calculations when they are caught. So no, no difference, two guys cheated both were caught both fights were off.

I don't care about GGGs money or what he lost. He is doing pretty well compared to most of us.. Look, if he sues he will not get the fight again, and that is his biggest fight. Forget the suing and fight Saunders and keep winning.. That looks better. Listen, contracts are broken and to me what is the point really to sue. To get money?.. I would forget about it and fight other guys. He has money and the suing is just to prove a point. We already know the story.

    1. You do realise that having any amount of clen in your system is banable offence right?
How it got there is a separate issue and like it or not, chances the meat excuse is legit are slim.
    2. What the **** you are trying to say with that is beyond me.
    3. You do realise how contracts work and what are the implications of breaching them, right?

I have to ask you all this..

If Golovkin decided he was withdrawing because he didn't want to fight a man who was a proven drug cheat, how many "Golovkin Ducks Canelo" type threads and posts would we have got?

I believe it would have been overwhelming.

The fact is Canelo has withdrawn, so should this be considered a blatant duck?

    Let's dissect this one quickly.

    1) clenbuterol is not a steroid and isn't categorized as one
    2) clenbuterol is a zero tolerance substance therefore there is no treshold for failing it
    3) clenbuterol doesn't naturally appear in human body (unlike steroids), therefore the only way to fail a test is previously using it
    4) Nevada has no limits for banned substances: you are either clean and get green light, or dirty and get suspended. This is the very fact why Clenelo pulled out. There is no investigation, sentencing has already been set for April 18, the only question is: 6 months, 1 year or two years. Where have you been in the past few days?

    1) His diet is public knowledge. It contains almost no red meat
    2) His family are butchers. They know about Mexico's meat problems
    3) He's a millionaire. He could eat Kobe beef all day if he so chose
ergo: he's either eating clenbutorol steak to get a boost or he's taking clenbuterol

Difference: Povetkin took meldonium when it was legal. Clenelo took Clenbuterol when it wasn't.
Difference: Clenbuterol is an actual PED. Meldonium may have no effect at all.

The amount was ridiculously small. Given the complex excretion methods of meldonium, it's entirely likely that this trace was a result of the body's metabolic processes releasing it from stored areas like fat.

    ^Opinion

Again: Povetkin's test was not a fail and there's no point in "cheating" with meldonium because you can hardly get a weaker PED. In fact I'd bet a double espresso just before the fight would be more effective.
