Bradley can't KO Khan IMO...I think Freddie can put together a game plan where Khan will use his height and reach to out point the smaller Bradley....I still think it would be a close fight on the cards....but Khan can hurt Bradley far Worse then Bradley can hurt Khan...and that is Amir's biggest advantage.

Amir didn't see the left hook from Prescott that was the beginning of the end. He was fighting stupid back then.

We all know Maidana hits harder, but Amir fought smarter. Amir was able to control the distance, so he saw and rolled with lots of those shots Maidana caught him with.

**** that power ****. Accuracy, timing, and speed come first.

Thanks for describing the fight again to me for no apparently reason

The difference being that Mosley, Cotto and Margarito were all quality operators and world-class fighters. Hence styles come into it. Khan is a world-class fighter and Prescott is not. None of Cotto/Mosley/Margarito got out-classed by a C+ level fighter. That shows what level Prescott is at.

Why you so mad about it though?

Breidis is not a big name so 2 journey men is all he can get at the moment. Give the dude a chance. He knocked out king khan that ain't good enough. it's a grudge match. Margarito has lost his last 2 major fights with a journey man inbetween and he is getting his shot at Cotto b/c a few years ago at 1 weight class below margo knocked out Cotto. That is enough in both cases where it warrants a re-match.

I don't see why you are so against this. Khan could use the work anyway. He has some lapses in defence that he needs to close up.

Answer me this. Willie Limond knocked Khan down at 135lbs and arguably had him in a worse state then than Maidana did in round 10. Does Willie Limond hit harder than Marcos Maidana?

Manny should also avenge his two KO losses to Singsurat and Torrecampo, those two losses have defined his career.

I don't agree with this. Bradley's KO percentage can be deceptive. Remember Bradley knocked down Witter, hurt Peterson several times and knocked him down, he also wobbled and hurt Abregu several times. I know because Maidana could'nt knock Khan out, suddenly Bradley and the rest of 140 have no chance, but Bradley throws much quicker, sharper punches on the inside than Maidana. Bradley's shots will land more frequently, and have a greater effect at wearing Khan down than Maidana's shots. Bradley will not gas when Khan is hurt either, so will not hesitate to attack Khan with quick, accurate right hooks when Khan is hurt, as opposed to Maidana's slow, telegraphed shots, which still found their target. Bradley knows how to implement a gameplan aswell, he is a smart fighter who can adapt to difficult situations. He will know how to deal with Khan.

Amir is not a machine which can judge pressure per pound. Amir can only tell you who hit him harder. And I'm sure it was Prescott.

You can have all the power in the world but if you can't deliver it... I'll tell you Prescott left hook was faster then anything I seen Maidana throw.

So you think he can live off that win forever? So no matter how many times he gets schooled by British domestic level brawlers, he deserves a title shot because he once beat Amir Khan?

The difference is that Margarito had long established himself as a world-class operator and he lost to two top P4P fighters. Khan is now at a world-class level; Prescott has never proved himself to be that level and lost to somebody who's European level at best.

I'm not mad about anything. And the reason I'm against it is because Prescott doesn't deserve a world-title shot. There are fights like Ortiz/Bradley/Alexander out there, and you want Khan to fight somebody like Prescott? Give me a break.

Why not just have him on to promote his new album, Sugar Axe? He'll still talk boxing with you. :p
