Brian mcgee, why is his name left out?

    That is when opponents are mentioned for Degale, Groves, he's recently had a good win, holds a title, is a very capable, though not unbeatable fighter, though i will say that he would beat both the above imo but not easily, he lives in uk [Belfast] good euro defence for Degale and certainly a good scalp if he could get it for groves.:think

    Brian Magee does not hold a title... He struggled to a win over a blown-up light middle and earned the right to pay sanctioning fees to the W(orst) B(oxing) A(ssociation)...

    Probably seen as a bit too good for these two at the moment he has sort of had a resurgance at the end of his career.

    He is MAdatory for the WBA proper (forget which one lol) so it is unlikely he would take this high risk fight when he probably has a bigger payday coming.

    Also he would be a handful for either at this point.

    He holds the interim WBA title, a lot more than DeGale or Groves

    DeGale, Groves and the Pole De Gale just beat are all better than Barboza. So I disagree. Fighters make the belt, not the other way around.

    He does hold a title. It's a meaningless title in my opinion but you'd be denying a fact by saying he doesn't hold a title.

    Magee will probably fight for the WBA proper after he fights Markusson in January then maybe a fight for either Degale or Groves will come about !
