Pretty poor fight in all honesty, Alcine has never been close to world class in all honesty don't let him bauble fool you. He is also a lot worse than when he was at his 'prime', he is 1-2-1 in his last 4 fights which is pretty poor form in all honesty. It isn't a terrible fight by any means but I was hoping Rose would take on someone better in all honesty so I'm pretty dissapointed, the card as a whole doesn't look to have that good depth either
This is Brian Rose at the end of day the just stepping beyond domestic level for the first time this was as good as it was going to get, some peope expected an unkown Argie,it will be intersting to see what is the main support.Camacho-Askins,Ochiang-Arnfied and Cardle-Hughes with decent chief support would a decent card and good night of boxing
Some good matchmaking a nice step up fight is Alcine a much better fight than Harris? Not by much. Some solid domestic scraps on there too all competitive so will probably go to this
Stylistically its a decent fight. Got to be careful with Rose cos he seems to struggle with pressure fighters and that certainly isnt Alcine.
Harris last won a fight in 2008. In his last 8 fights, he has 6 losses, a draw and a no contest and gets battered by anyone half decent. Harris would get knocked out in a round by Lemieux, who Alcine beat, so I think it's a good step up in quality.
This is a good start for Rose, should win this, Alcine might be stronger at 154 but none the less way to go
