Easy money for any punter bet on Carson Jones. At 7/4 in the bookies you're likely to get a better deal online.

Good odds but I see little chance of you getting any returns on that. Rose will beat him this time in my opinion.

Shocked you haven't claimed Jones is Irish to be honest, and yeah massive shock I predict the bookies favourite to win! How dare I?!

I think Brian Rose is the better light middleweight fighter out of the two, yes he lost, I didn't agree with the stoppage but I think he will win in the second fight, its hardly the most ridiculous statement of the year is it? Haha and as for the Chamberlain matter he was one of only 2 or 3 I had seen fight and I thought very little of the others so it was an obvious choice.

Oh and I may have been wrong but I hadn't seen McCarthy fight so how am I supposed to say he is better than anyone if I know so little about him?

I have said before I do not watch much amateur boxing at all. I do not enjoy it the same way I enjoy the pro game. From the scoring system to the short fights to the real home town decisions, I just don't enjoy it. There was a thread made at the time, I pick the one I have seen, I am not going to watch every amateur fight someone has had just to answer a question on here am I? Haha

I did watch some of the world series of boxing, wasn't much of a fan but did watch quite a bit. I can comment on whatever poll I want to, I did say Chamberlain is the best on the list I have said he is the best I have seen, nothing wrong with that at all, I suggest you stop acting like an arrogant ****hole online behind your keyboard, go back to watching all of your 'Irish' boxers :good

You don't offend me one bit, just because I am not a big watcher of amateur boxing I am a casual? I mean I bet 95%+ of this forum are the same as me in that. I probably watch as much pro boxing as you, forever watching fights from here and there, as the other fella mentioned, you are just making an attempt at boxing snobbery.
You go on about me being so pro Matchroom and the fact that I pick Matchroom fighters to win over any other all of the time but that really isn't the case. Matchroom do have the best stable in the country now, that's a fact, so people are going to predict for their fighters more than any other but I pick it how I see it not how you or anyone else tries to tell me to see it.

London fighters? I couldn't give a **** about London fighters any more than I care about a Scottish or Irish fighter. I have never seen an interview with Eddie talk about Chamberlain and he doesn't even get any exposure so that is just pure rubbish.

It is not stupidity, it is snobbery though. I said I do not have the greatest knowledge of amateur boxing, I don't pretend to know either like some people do. You say about not signing the best amateurs though, were AJ and Campbell not the best available when he signed them? No one promoter can sign everyone so I don't really understand your point there.

AJ, Campbell, Nevin were the only ones that turned pro. Barnes is still amateur as is I assume you mean Andrew Selby, Conlan I assume you don't mean Jamie. When you are calling me dumb can you please spell correctly because it makes you look very stupid, rather ironic. I will vote and comment on what I want, you cant dictate what anyone does on here, I will comment on what I know. Simple.

Okay well I wasn't aware that Barnes was looking to turn pro back then, I heard that he wanted to turn after Rio but I didn't know prior. The thing is he cant go to Ireland with just a couple of Irishmen that have turned pro very recently because you then get the cards that he has quite rightly been slaughtered for.

He signed 2 of the 3 that turned pro and he did have Nevin on one of his cards when Macklin topped the bill against Heiland I believe, so he must have been interested in signing him but he was terrible that night, no I am not slating him before you get defensive as he was a top quality amateur but he was poor that night.
