    Statement from Paul Briggs yesterday:

"In my appeal against the decision that my fight with Danny Green was fixed and I took a dive has been OVERTURNED in a court of law by three High court Judges !!!!!!!!

It's been ruled the fight was legitimate and 5 weeks prep was insufficient time to prepare after 3.5 yrs off, Green not allowing a warm up fight and green making me drop from 94kg to 84 when the cruiserweight limit is 90kg !!

I've ...NEVER DOGGED a fight in my life and am proud not only of my career but my integrity throughout it !!

Thank you to my legal team to Billy Hussein and my solid as **** mates Don Fakary, Pete Stanton, James Harvey, Terry Searlis and Daryl Grundy.........

    108Fights 99wins 9loss 73ko's

AND '0' ****ING THROWN FIGHTS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

    You would hope so...

Interesting the part where he says Green MADE him drop from 94 to 84 even though the cruiser limit is 90.

It is one of the best words ever invented... There are so many variations of it which can be used as well.... Much better than the word "Thumb" :nut

He shouldn't have fought that's for sure but he needed the cash... Green claims Briggs is a good mate, why fight him when he is in that state? Lend him some cash or something

What a load of bull**** - if he was in no state to fight he should have pulled out.

No excuses, no blaming it on anyone else, or his mental, physical or financial state at the time, trying to make out he was taken advantage of by Green. He's a big boy, been in plenty of fights, he knows what is needed to turn up in shape.

I was a massive fan of Briggs up until the Green fight, but he lost me with that rubbish and his subsequent carry on.

It was banned in NSW because EVERYONE knew full well he was shot... Why instead of moving it to another state did Green not find another more suitable opponent.... Green isn't clean in all of this, there is no defending his actions IMO.... Yeah Briggs shouldn't have fought.. and Green shouldnt have sought him as an opponent either.

He was 86kg that's why Green was pissed off at the weigh in he came in over the agreed 84kg limit.

A man is responsible for his actions.

The final decision was with Briggs - he and only he truly knew the state he was in. Those around him who suspected either walked away (Fenech) or continued training him (Hussein).

Trying to place the blame on Green just shows your bias.
