And Lewis didn't know out a crazed McCall who stood in front of him like a sitting duck with his arms down. Oh no! :deal

Briggs fought both of them. Surely his opinion is the only one worthy of any merit here no?

It doesn't have to be one or the other, one can listen to what Briggs says and then what happens in a fight and see which to believe. It seems to me Lewis certainly has more KO power because he knocked Briggs out, end of story, and even when he did, Briggs showed a great great chin. Now the fact Vitali was hitting him clean for 10 rounds and didn't knock him out tells the story. Lewis hits harder, I don't need to take anyone's word for it, I can see it with my own eyes.

That said, Briggs could certainly have sustained more severe injuries in this particular situation because I think it's better for the body, particularly the brain, to get hit hard a couple of times and get KO'd then it is to get hit over and over and over again.

ur a ****ing ****** for creating this thread

clearly the lack of oxygen was affecting briggs' brain....

he fought lennox back in the late 90's, when he himself was younger, fresher, and at his peak.....and lennox TKO'd his ass

tonight, he was a slow, plodding, overweight ****, and SHOULD have been put away by the 5/6th round by any GREAT heavyweight.....

but like always, even if he did get stopped, it would be due to his exhaustion, rather than it having to do with klitschko's power....briggs was rocking and reeling from exhaustion, not from hurt, and klitschko could not put away a guy that was just there to be had....

any version of lewis would have buried him into the ****ing floor tonight, and tyson would have decapitated him.

if anything this fight proves the dire state of the heavyweight landscape, and how massively overrated the klitschko's will be because of this.

Lewis looked confused in that fight, he didn't want to smash up McCall whilst McCall was standing there crying.

Never mind the fact that McCall had one of the best chins of all time in the division.

Lol such a simple one, briggs was 25,26years old when he fought foreman and Lewis, nearly 40years old when he fought Vitali klitschko power Is the last thing to go but your chin gets much worse when your aging ,your bones are weaker . Chin is also much worse when you are too green. And foreman lost athleticism at that stage so power wasn’t quite there.

Vitali was actually a year older than Foreman in 2010 so it's a fair comparison from Briggs. Vitali was defo not hitting as hard, or Foreman in 97.

Julis Francis said Vittalihit harder than Tyson. Danny Williams said Tyson hit slightly harder but Vitali kept his power throughout the fight.

Briggs became much bigger later in his career and as a result took a better punch. He took clean shots from Holyfield and Ibragimov, guys who can swat. Vitlai beat on him badly, in a fight that should have been stopped.

Oh right. My bad. Briggs took harder punches from Liajhovich. Point being his chin was good in his late year. Vitali hit him with a hard shot in round 7, and Briggs a 265 pound went flying backward.

Huh? Am I misunderstanding what you're saying here? Vitali was not older than Foreman when they both faced Briggs.

Vitali is a much bigger man, so it shouldn't be surprising he hit harder than Foreman. But people have a hard time letting go of the old mythology and Foreman's reputation was built on having unbelievable power, the kind of power that could flatten huge guys like Frazier.
Just because Wlad had a bigger punch, it doesn't mean Vitali didn't have big power, but that's now the narrative, that Vitali couldn't really punch. Arreola definitely thought Vitali hit very hard.

Holmes also thought Shavers hit harder than Tyson. Most boxers don't really know what they're talking about
