Anyway I think Bute beats BHOP (hard fight) and fights a close 12 rounder (49% chances to win) with Dawson. But I dont think Bute will go after Dawson unless HBO forces him.
If Bute KOs BHop (who knows) Ill be happy for Bute but Ill feel sorry for Bhop cuz hes a great champ.

 

Bute should stay away from both of these guys. I think he would beat Hopkins. However, Hopkins is 45. He's also very crafty and could make it an ugly fight. I don't think that would be a wise fight for Bute.

Dawson is all wrong for Bute. Bute is a counterpuncher. He does not want to get in there with a counterpuncher who's bigger, longer, faster, and just overall more talented. Just look at Bute's recod. He's been beating washed up fighters and straight ahead punchers. He and his fans would be in for a rude awakening if he got in there with Dawson.

 

Nah unless Dawson wants to move down to 168 I don't see Bute/Dawson happenin any time soon. Maybe that's better for me because I'm a fan of them both especially a big fan of Hopkins I don't see Bute taking a fight with Hops either.

 

Bute is probablely the 6th or 7th best SMW in the world. Andre Dirrell and Andre Ward are WAY better than him. I would pick Froch, Kessler, and Abraham to all beat him as well.

 

Dawson would have no problem dropping down to 168 to woop Bute for the right amount of money.

 

Bute probably would beat Hopkins at his current state but Dawson is a completely different animal. Dawson would box circles around Bute and make him run back down to 168.

 

I agree with your assessment of the Dawson fight, on the other hand, if you talk of Bute fighting washed up guys, then it's quite ironic saying that after looking at Dawson's record (besides Adamek).

 

None of them ..Either way the Miranda win was exciting but he beat a beaten fighter . Bute needs to challenge any of the super 6 to start proving who is the best at 168..

The only thing is these fights will have to wait until the tourney is over .Who else is there to challenge at super middle I don t like the Hopkins fight, the Dawson fight is the better fight and the easier one to make ..He is also the guy Hopkins avoided ..

 

He can whoop Bute I do see that happening. Dawson has been wanting to fight whoever he can so a Dawson/Bute fight is likely.

 

I couldn't agree more. He would be thoroughly outboxed by a more skilled boxer.
