    Alright Ladies,

I know Smith did the Heavyweights, the light Heavyweights and then the (great) idea died a death. IMHO this was down the hectic schedule of of the threads, we'd get 2 weeks to rank one division then straight away we'd be asked to rank the next.

For anyone who put a decent amount of thought, time and effort into their picks this got to be a chore rather than the casual labour of love that it should be (well thats how it felt to me!!).

So.......what I propose to do is resurrect the idea but relax the pace a little. I'll leave the Middleweights open until Monday 6th Jan, take a couple of weeks 'off', do the Welterweights at the start of Febuary and continue down the divisions over that sort of timeframe. Hopefully it'll make it a bit more fun for people.

The rules and regs are the same as the original idea, to be considered a fighter must have EITHER been born in Britain OR Eire ORhave fought for a British title.

Please rank 10 fighters, the scoring will be as follows:

    25 points for your #1.
    15 for #2.
    12 for #3.
    10 for #4.
    8 for #5.
    5 for #6.
    4 for #7.
    3 for #8.
    2 for #9.
    1 for #10.

    Cheers
    Gaz

Not really mate, I'm going to give each division 3/ 4 weeks and then have another 2 week break before the next one. I think, even just doing the HWs and light HWs, people felt a little 'burnt out' going straight from finalising one list to starting another.

I think a break will let people regain their enthusiasm for the idea after spending a few weeks putting their last list together.

Burnt out  I totally agree mind, I got the feeling it started to become a chore for me to produce a list I believe in and researched. It takes a bit of effort to do it properly.

The boxers records are all on Boxrec. This won't be just a thread of rankings, the fighters/ records get discussed and debated (well, hopefully!!). Age is no excuse, GPater is only 9 and a half and I guarantee he'll put together a decent list!!

    Get stuck in!!:D

Greg is a certified Fitzsimmons nuthugger mind. Imagine if Fitzsimmons was fighting today, Gregory would be the biggest ballhugger bar none ! He'd match Rooney's manlove for Mayweather. :yep

    yeh nice shouts there

yeh, Fitzsimmons is a long shot aint he, might nto make it on my list!

wow, it was my tenth birthday in October

    :lol::lol:

At least it is someone great that i nut-hug, thing that annoys me is you get Mayweather, Pacquiao etc... nuthuggers that might not know much about boxing or other ATG's. At least i do know about them and actually as much as i love Fitz i dont completly say he is the P4P number 1 when i feel there are 10 better fighters than him, possibly. Anyway, i think im fair with my rankings.

Also if i have spent alot of time researching Fitz why cant i be a nuthugger?
