Chad 116-112 for me. Pascal to make it tough early to mid rounds but Chad's gonna take control late on and win a tough contest IMO.

    Looking forward to this one...

I see it the same but with Pascal making it tough in the last part of the fight rather the early on.

Neither of them carry enough power to stop the other.

The fight will definately be decided by the judges scorecards.

Both are flashy boxers who rarely stand still and sit down on their punches.

Both like to be elusive but do not have the best of defenses.

It will be close as their styles are quite similar.

I will edge towards a close Dawson decision, maybe even a SD.

I also see a close points decision for Chad. I think every round will be close but Dawson is slightly more polished as an all round fighter and will control the majority of the rounds.

Don't rate Dawson as high as most seem to. Good all-round, nothing special.

    Head: Dawson, 117-111ish decision.

Heart: Pascal, to win a super close decision based on workrate :good

Dawson 117 - 111, I can't see Pascal drawing Dawson into a fire fight long enough to take rounds. Pascal doesn't deal with a good jab well so I can only see one winner. Will be interested to see if Pascal is all there after those injuries in his last fight.

If pascal can press he has a chance. Dawson looks good when he's switched on but can't fight 3 minutes a round (can't even fight 2 most rounds).

I don't rate Dawson that highly either but but he's a solid world class fighter who just happens to be a tall southpaw with better accuracy in his punches. Pascal will make it tough though.

i want pascal to win as dawson is well overated but that height and reach advantage dawson has should do the job on points.

I'm going for Dawson by decision on this one.

I think Dawson has plenty of talent, I'm still sort of hoping at some stage that he'll kick into gear and become a great fighter, but he just seems to go from one lukewarm fight to another with no momentum. He looks great for patches of fights, and then mediocre.

Big fan of Pascal as well though, would be delighted if he could overcome here, he's a live underdog.

Either would beat Cloud as well IMO

I'm on record as saying if Chad loses this i'll never be seen in these parts. lol

I've got chad winning in a rout! (my only concern is some home cooking for Pascal) I can't see how any die-hard is not a fan of Dawson...how can you not like this guy? Chad is the first dude I've scene since Roy throw 6 piece combos in a matter of seconds and it's more satisfying seeing Chad do it because you know it's not all predicated on pure athleticism and since his little hiccup against Glen he's transformed into a monster.

I've got him ranked 3rd behind Manny and Floyd. I don't think there's a fighter in the sport that's got the complete package of Bad Chad other then Floyd of course. This is a good situation for him on Saturday...he's fighting on the road in another man's country in front of a big crowd against a style to make him look good and it could also set him up for a big money fight in that same country against Bute.
