Just spotted that the kid I enquired about a couple pages back, Gilberto Ramirez Sanchez fought on the Alvarez undercard last week. Stopped a Colombian in 4, the Colombian had taken Rubio, David Lopez and Vera the distance in fights that were pretty close judging by boxrec. Going to have a look around see if I can find footage tonight

I checked that upload out for ya', picks up again after it freezes.

From memory I couldn't give Avelar any more than 3 rounds max, think I gave him two.

Both one dimensional fighters, but Avelar was made for Canto.

I wanna know what that Margarito entrance song was from last night!

Juan La Porte's commentary was biased i heard, moaning about Cotto or something.

Arce wants Salido next i believe..

    Cheers mate :good

Yeah i think Mares vs Arce is the more logical fight all round, Moreno's a tricky customer i can't see Arce beating down doors for that to be made.

You're goddamn right, but Canto is one of the most remarkable one-dimensional fighters I've ever seen all things considered. A midget with no punching power or versatility, yet he managed to reign over possibly the strongest Flyweight era of the past 50 years.

    Alfonso Zamora Vs Eusebio Pedroza

Pedroza would make his mark up at 126lbs, and it's pretty hard to see how he ever made the Bantam limit, and he only shows flashes of what a fine technician he would become, looking far more erratic and less calm here. Nonetheless, Zamora deals with him here with ruthless efficiency.

No probs mate, worth the wait?

Zamora was one of the hardest pure punchers ever. Only seen about five of his fights, Greg has more and rates his technical ability as well (he was an Olympian) but for me he's a f'n bulldozer.

But see how he set the right hand up. Shot for a jab to the body to allow him to close the distance on his rangy opponent and BOO-GA! Down goes Pedroza and gets clipped with a vicious left hook as well. A just stoppage IMO, tough would've been easy on the eye to see Zamoras follow up savagery :yep
