Listen stupid. Bugner did not have "most of his fights in Australia,"he didn't, " live there mostly as an adult," he didn't move there until he was in his 50's!

He only fought there 11 times out of 83 fights! The bulk of his career and 58 of his fights were in the UK!

    I don't consider Fitzsimmons a British boxer.
    I don't consider Bugner a Hungarian boxer.
Gary Mason was a British boxer, not a Jamaican boxer.

I believe to be credited as a boxer to any country, the boxer needs to have a boxing link of some sort.
Certainly if a young boy migrates with his parents to a country where he wasn't born and some years later takes up boxing there, the 'old country' has no real right to claim him as one of their boxers.

Lennox Lewis is an exception because he purposely launched his professional career in the UK as a British fighter. But Canada have a right to claim him too, obviously.

America might even have some sort of claim on Chris Eubank (though he's from a boxing family in Britain, he started his own boxing in New York) .... but I'd very mch doubt America wants him.

Its interesting you should write that, seeing as your imagination gets more insane with each post you make! noone has said you claimed Schmeling is British! Why did you even write that just now?? I dont get it! You just make stuff up on the spot like some kind of lunatic.

You are too wierd, mate - keep your mushrooms to yourself and you keep on replying to whatever imaginary posts you are reading, just dont reply to me anymore, thank you.

No, it was Lewis who beat the 37 year old.
Fury beat a 39 year old.

    Still, Fury's #2 regardless.

Fitzsimmons, even if you want to claim him as a British boxer, beat a feather-fisted 184 pound man who hadn't won a fight in over 3 years, to become heayweight champion.

yes as one of his wins

yes as his best win , ty.

no way, undisputed at 2 weights is way more than beating one 39 year old.

Id probably rate Lewis's win over a 37-year-old as his best. He has a good record outside of that too, yes.

Fury's resume is rubbish but the historical competition among British heavyweights is weak. Beating Klitschko in 2015 outranks what the others did, apart from Lewis. It's pathetic, I know, but true anyway.

Fitzsimmons as undisputed champion at other weights doesn't mean a thing for ranking him as a HEAVYweight.

That Wlad is better than anyone Fitzsimmons ever did beat.
2015 Wlad is much better than the likes of Corbett and Sharkey and Gus Ruhlin.

no he wasn't, Wlad could tumble to anyone who punched hard an can box well. You don't see Fitzsimmons falling to retired failed fatties.

    OK.
For a moment I forgot the little heavyweights of the Victorian age were miles better than the heavyweights of Wlad's era.
For a second I was deluded enough to think Wlad Klitschko and Kubrat Pulev would actually stand a chance against Sailor Tom Sharkey.
    My bad.

it would depend on what rules they are fighting under.

but despite your sarcasm your real mistake was not to forget anythning at all, but rather to assume todays are simply always better, and you need to take on board thats simply not the rule dictating how it always works.
This is particularly weak because you are trying to pretend that its ME making an assumption, when its you.

pulevs not a name to use to strengthen your case.
