British fighters that could get a World Title fight in 2010

    magee fight would cement his position as a real contender i agree. But my point was that mitchell and smith are about same stage in their career, and there is no girly screaming from people about mitchell getting this shot. I think he does deserve it, but you have to wonder about people and their agenda's where one gets **** and another doesn't for what is basically the same situation

    Billy, how have you come to the conclusion that Anderson it the biggest puncher? It's not like he has a 90% KO record, he's stopped 7 out of 11 which is fairly typical at that stage of a fighters career.

    Groves has stopped 7 in 9 including a previously never stopped opponent in Adamu, so unless you've taken them all on the pads what is this based on? :huh

    as I said, Mitchell beat Prescott who is beyond Domestic level. When Mitchell was due to get a title fight in 2008 people said it was to soon.

    theres a few ifighters he has stopped that havent been stopped as well.

    ive watched all these guys and imo anderson punches harder,he sets his feet better than the others and imo hes faced better opponents than the others as well,time will tell

    he did mate, and i can't knock it, i think he deserves it, just dont understand why people are getting their knickers in a twist about smith.

    No he hasn't. He's fought Nathan King and thats it. DeGale has fought King and beat him easier.

    Groves beat Adamu who is better than anybody Anderson has fought.

    Smith has beaten Dodson and Quigley who are several levels better than anybody Anderson has fought.

    Smith has not beat anyone beyond Domestic level. Mitchell has. Thats why people are critical of Smiths high ranking.

    he may punch harder but his defence isnt supreme and having power isnt all that counts. if kenny got offered the groves or smith fights right now would he take it?

    i think he would yes,why shouldn't he kenny beleives hes going to win a world title so he obviously needs to clean up domestically first,so given the chance imo hed bite there hand off
