Football is a mugs game. I can easily say most of my gains have been on Boxing, but I have lost gains due to betting on Football. I still haven't learnt my lesson on Football, it's just to unpredictable. It's more competitive than ever before now IMO. Anyone can beat anyone on their day.

I'm not disciplined enough to stick to Boxing though:-(

Boxing is emminently more easy to make money on then football. I bet on the cotto fight not to go the distance and was watching it realising straight away this bet is goosed. So im seeing trouts oprice start to drift which were at odds with what I was seeing on the TV So I got £100 on Trout decision in-play at 8/1 to cover my losses

You get a lot of gifts in boxing. Senchenko at 3/1 was a nonsense price if you looked at it dispassionately

That's the advantage of boxing. In the Helenius - Chisora fight, the odds in the 11th round were about 6/5 for Helenius to still get the win. Well, as corrupt as Boxing is, those odds were great.

I had Senchenko at 9/1 for the tko/ko over Hatton. Those odds were to good to turn down so I got on there.

Think I'll stick to my larger bets on Boxing in the future, and just small bets on the football.

Yep agreeing with the rest of you. Football is a mugs game to bet big on, I lost mainly on football in the past and regained through boxing. Boxing is much easier to win money on, it has been my main betting success with everyone's knowledge and insight from here. Only bet a fiver here n there on football for fun these days, never big again as I have learnt my lessons. Long may our boxing winning go on.....

    $10 on Marquez decision/TD at 5/1
$5 on the draw at 21/1

If Marquez gets robbed here I'm going to cry like a *****. I usualyl don't bet on my favourite fighters because it just makes me more upset if they lose.

Kessler to ko magee rounds 10 to 12...i actually see it coming abit earlier than that to be honest.

and bet on Marquez to ko pac....he is not winning a decision under any circumstances, he could floor manny 6 times n not gt it on points.... (heart ruled head well and truly when i made this bet)

Had £50 on the draw at 22/1 Manny/Marquez, has to be close on the cards if it goes that far.

    Good luck guys

To be fair, betting on Barca at 1/2 without Messi,Xavi,Ineista,Valdes,Pique,Alba or Fabregas starting is a bit silly anyway.

found half decent odds on a boxing accumulater

    crolla to win
    barker on points
    kessler by ko
    and degale to win

    £8 wins 57..not to shabby
