I might lay a bit against Man Utd as well....... not sure their reserves are good enough to beat Spurs.

Will have to see what side Spurs will be putting out.

Any thoughts on Jones vs Green?

    Huddersfield :-(

They were in front on three occasions..... for a grand total of eight minutes.

The bets haven't been settled yet but I reckon I'm around £15 up.

Man City will hopefully complete a speculative 5-fold.They must forgotten how to win though.Surely they'll win tomorrow at home vs Arsenal youngsters

Mine have just been settled on Bet365 for the night.

    Up 47p

Had a double on Leeds and Huddersfield (which I had forgotten about) and one on Carlisle and Bristol. Better odds on the one that won but double the stake on the one that lost so came out about level. :-(

    You bet on Jones Green?

May put a fiver on that, him and Mitchell is a genuine 'pick-em' fight in ym view.

Luckily I didn't follow up on my 'feeling' for Pompey, useless ****s

Won 20 on the United/Spurs game. Put Just over 40 to win 20 at 1-0. Knew Spurs had no balls.

It turned out I was £22 up.

I wouldn't have put Leeds on if I had known the side selected..... half first team half reserves

I had a feeling for Norwich but felt that Villa would be a better pick, as it turned out both won, but Huddersfield really surprised me failing to beat Tranmere at home.

I just had a spare £3 so put that on Jones to win (at 4/11 ) - gonna see what I can make of the £3 by the end of this week.

I've just checked my bets for this week and the vast majority are in-play. I'm a huge fan of waiting to see the teams, giving it 10 minutes to see how the game starts and what sort of pattern it takes. It can spoil your idea if a team scores early but the majority of the time its a big help.

For instance today, Spurs and United I saw Spurs doing well, but I never got the feeling they'd put the ball in the net. So I just held off because United weren't getting a grip on the game either. Once they scored I took the plunge because if you know what Spurs are like they have zero character to come back against a big team. Suddenly the second goes in and you are sitting comfortable.

I was gonna lay against United - it was my gut instinct anyway.

Having looked at the other games on offer tonight I chose to leave alone in the end. Probably going to do the same tomorrow as well with City vs Arsenal.

It's not that often I do in-play betting on football, though I do it on most sports..... sometimes if a top 4 side concedes early I run upstairs and stick £2 on them to win as a throwaway - probably even over the past year or so on that.

Thoughts on the boxing this weekend......

Prescott KO 2/1 (Boylesports I think)
Khan PTS 2/1 (found that in the grouped round betting on Betfair)
    Jones to beat Mutley 5/8

I'm thinking about the other Prizefighter first round ties..... might run with Rees and Barnes as a double.

Reckon Khan might KO that guy. Not seen much of him mind. Just from listening to him speak he sounds like he's got a lot of hunger. That means he'll try hard.

    Me neither.

I'm probably just betting to value on this one, it's only £10 - don't wanna go too much in a fight where I haven't seen the other guy.

    Nice bets tonight TFFP/Beeston.

I've gone with a Khan KO but only at £5. Like you guys, I've not seen much of Salita at all so don't have the confidence to stake much.

Im going to have to see the lineups b4 i bet on Auxerre. We need Irek Jelen in the squad. We have Jelen, we will win!

    What do i think?

I think your should jump on that Bordeaux bet ASAP.

I watched them last week vs. Auxerre, not only didnt they suck in the first half, but we(Auxerre) were denied a penality to equalize, and thier starting goalkeeper is out for 3 months!!!! He got injured in the 80 some min in the Auxerre game, if it was sooner we could of scored, they had some amateur black guy as a keeper

You better jump on that bet cause i sure am!

im only going to bet on the win tho, no handicap. Still a good odd at 1.67

good luck guys im not posting any tips cause it seems liek every time i post tips my picks lose, so ill only post the aftermath i guess
