I might go with 'Will the fight go the distance'

Betfair are paying 5/7 on 'NO'.

I've got a tenner on Prescott by stoppage already though.

Im torn on the Prescott thing. He could look like the greatest piece of value ever later on tonight but at the minute in my mind he's still completely unproven and was just lucky that he delivered the inevitable to Khan. Gonna leave it I think.

He's unproven yeah but its not rocket science to fathom out in the sense you kinda know whats going to happen in this fight. It would be surprising if either didn't get hit. Just depends how much stock you put in Prescott's power and Mitchell's durability.

I'm not sure Mitchell has the greatest chin.

He was one punch away from going against Carl Johanneson....... Prescott is bigger, stronger and fresher than Carl was, and this is the first meaningful fight for Mitchell since then - almost two years ago.

I'll be happy if he wins but Mitchells a Brit and if he wins then then it won't be the end of the world.

I never put enough on a fight/ horse/ team that'll make me see my arse if I don't win.

This, and the fact that Mitchell has a nasty habit of hanging his chin out to dry led me to put £10 on Prescott to win in the first at 25-1.

If Mitchell survives the first, I'll swiftly switch allegiances....

    Others worthy of a mention......

BJ Saunders to win on points 5/2
DeGale to win on points 9/2
Gavin to win on points 3/1

It wouldn't surprise me to see at least one of these taken the distance, probably Saunders, who laboured like hell with Spitko last time out.....

DeGale is probably getting King at the right time, and Gavin will most likely be able to force a stoppage at some stage :think

That DeGale price is very good for a 6 rounder IMO. DeGale has a few stoppages but he doesn't exactly give the impression he punches hard. If King is not too ambitious and doesn't find himself on the end of clean counters DeGale would have a hard time breaking him down

    Holy ****...

    Saunders by Decision
    DeGale by Decision
    Gavin by Decision

    £5 wins...£385 :shock::shock::shock:

Unlikely all go the distance but against seemingly durable opponents over just 6 rounds you never know.

I've just put £2 on it as a throwaway, plus £3 on Saunders.

Thats on Boyle. **** it I'm putting 5 on that, would pay for the new guitar I want.

Might do it without Saunders too, its the shittest price and I don't see it as any more likely than Gavin getting a stoppage. I actually think the 9/2 on DeGale is very good and the most likely because Nathan King is better than his record suggests, only stopped once in the 6th round against Quigley and last time he was pulled out with injury I believe.
