Cardiff are 5/4, and we've got a good side out (Bellers rested though). I've just lumped on that, with Koumas to score anytime a great bet at 5/1.
If you take out the top 8, and probably Fulham and Blackburn, then any 2 sides from 10 could go down with Blackpool IMO.
I fancy it'll be one of West Brom, Newcastle, West Ham or Wigan to join them. I think the likes of Wolves, Birmingham, Stoke and of course your lot will be alright. They all strike me as teams [the latter lot] that can survive on the virtues of good home form, particularly against the teams around them. I can see the first 4 all suffering some bad losses at home. [Newcastle less so than the others]
I think the first 4 will definitely be in the scrap as none of them have a defence worthy of the name. I think Birmingham will be down there as well, one of the worst teams I've seen at our place for quite a while when they were up on the opening day and I'm really not convinced about Stoke for some reason, though Wolves should be OK. I really worry for us in all honesty, looking through the fixture list it is quite feasible that we may not win a game until December, basically we need away wins at Wigan, Blackburn, the Vermin and Wolves as we will get very little from our home games until then. Add that to the fact that we still only have one ****ing goalscorer at the club depsite spending over £100 million since we got promoted and I'm very worried.
I meant to bet on Trabzonspor when I saw the Liverpool team news yesterday. Gerrard, Torres, Agger, Mascherano all out (plus Maxi) plus the 3-0 hammering at City made me think it's a game they could lose. I just saw it's 1-0, how long left?
