http://www.skysports.com/football/match_preview/0,19764,11065_3354668,00.html This is the best I could find. Assuming Becchio is out I'd not pick Paynter..... I'd put Gradel up front with Snodgrass off him, and bring in Sanchez Watt and Lloyd Sam on the wings. If we try playing 4-4-2 we'll get ripped to shreds - that's why Becchio is a key man because he gets goals and also works hard for the midfield, which often gets overrun. We'll probably use the same tactics as in the first game, letting Arsenal have the ball where they can't do any damage and trying to force them into crossing the ball, which they don't like doing. Wenger's team selection will be key - not sure too many of the young kids will fancy walking out in a cauldron with 40000 people right on top of them..... though I hope those two dodgy centre backs start and Bendtner up top too.
Seriously... Then something clicked and I just couldn't be arsed typing it all out. I remember picking Nishikori last slam in the first round as the underdog. He either won or was up and a layed off, can't remember which. Nishikori's career has been blighted by injury but he's finally getting a run and he's a talent. He will get in the top 30.
Dolgopolov over Becker 4/7 (pretty standard bet here, should be just about value at this price.) Llodra over Raonic 1/2 (Llodra has had a great resurgence of late, has a well rounded game. Raonic is a talent, big lad, but inexperienced) Monfils over Wawrinka 11/10 (sure this might raise an eyebrow after Waw won in Chennai coming into this event and Monfils struggled against De Bakker but Gael won their last 2 meetings, which were on hard courts too. I think the reason is Monfils when playing decently is consistent, whereas Stan has big swings over the course of a match) Stakhovsky over Robredo Evens (don't usually go against Robredo early in slams but I don't think he's playing too well coming into this event. Stak is not a big hitter, but consistent. If Robby plays poorly that will be enough is my thinking)
Also as a side note on Monfils, he hasn't had much tennis. The epic with de Bakker could actually be a very good thing for him. It will improve his confidence immeasurably knowing he can come back in that situation.
True, but I don't think Arthur is strong at the weight. I think Booth's body punching will get to him and he'll be stopped/pulled out after about 8 rounds. Don't know anything about Arsenal team news.
anyone decided on there bets for tonight? I might just go for the draw at 10/3 and maybe arsenal by one goal at 5/2
TEAM NEWS... Szczesny: Sagna Djourou Koscielny Gibbs; Song Denilson; Bendtner Nasri Arshavin; Chamakh. Fabregas, Theo on the bench.
That Arsenal side I fancy to win tonight. Koscielny and Djourou does not look too hot though so that would give Leeds good hope.
