Yeah been reading about that for ages on redcafe. Seemed inevitable. Bit of a mistake I feel to not even give the lad a single go, but they must have made an informed decision based on what he's done in training. Presumably they must think he has a bit of talent to include a buy back option otherwise they wouldn't have bothered, but they clearly don't think that potential is going to be realized soon enough.
If he managed to add something to his game to make him effective for 90 minutes rather than a luxury player I could see him getting a go. Even at reserve level he struggled to really get a grip in midfield and dominate. Could definitely pass it well and had an eye for goal but to put him in at the top level he would be a passenger for most of the game. Can't see them taking the option up on him. Read a few good articles about Nicky Barmbys son looking to be a cracking player so far only 15 or 16 and a real good winger from what I have heard. Not sure if he has made the academy team yet.
Interesting comments from Denilson. Says Fabregas isn't a real captain and that Almunia is the best GK at Arsenal. Maybe kind of obvious things but you don't often hear the actual players saying stuff like that.
Fabregas doesn't seem the type to really get a team going. Denilson should really keep his mouth shut as I'm sure the whole team could give him a reality check on his ability.
