I've went with a 10/1 treble of CSKA Moscow, Inter Milan and Basel.

Also Man City, Cardiff, Arsenal and Bate at around 8/1.

Not sure why United are drifting out as far as 4/6. Their record at home in the CL group stages is very good to be fair. This is an important fixture as well and would almost ensure 1st place in the group. Looks decent.

    Simpson - 10/11 (StanJ)
    Selby - 11/10 (BFred)

6/4 on either by decision. 9/2 Selby stoppage, 11/2 Simpson stoppage. All with Stan.

Surely you are getting better odds than this? Pays nearly 17/1 with 365.

Done City, Utd, Ayr, Aldershot, Lyon and Birmingham tonight @ 22/1

Think brum are massive tonight, im sure you will agree Wallace.

APOEL win or draw is 13/8 (away to Zenit). Not a bad price considering they are still unbeaten.

On Sweden to win the golf world cup this week @ 12/1 E/W. Really solid bet as only half the field really have a chance in this and the swedes have 2 really solid 4ball and 4some players in Karlsson and Noren who can shoot really low in the better ball format.

  12. Last night was an up and downer for me.

Laid against United, then backed it after Benfica got the opener.

Had City to draw with Napoli.

Then had Inter to draw - laid that one way too early.

Lyon and Ajax was the only really decent bet I got right, in the sense that I didn't bail out and take a small profit.

Not done bad these last few weeks, hopefully it continues.

Sorry for posting like Flint

I'm reverting back to my old stance of not betting on football....

  14. I've just had a look at my last three months activity on Betfair.....

    NFL +44.46
    Athletics -10.00
    Boxing +304.54
    Cricket +720.34
Horses +55.19 (courtesy of Hatton the Hammer)
    Rugby League +725.81
    Rugby Union +62.53
    Football -442.38
    Tennis +540.11

    Total +2000.60

    -------------------------------

That's kinda strange, because in the last few weeks I've done really well on the football, but shite on cricket and boxing.

So at some stage I've done the complete opposite on each of those three.... can't think of where though :huh

As for the tennis, I was just following BigBone during the Grand Slams on the thread in the lounge.

I'm telling you, football should be given a wide berth....

My most successful sports are cycling, horse racing and boxing.

Maybe I should listen to bigbone when it comes to tennis from now on. Never usually bet on it.
