It will do. Bookies make their money from accas. I know a big acca has a great prize at the end of it but it's such a bad bet and such bad value I strongly recommend you try and not do them. You're losing so much value on each selection ( due to the % firms bet a market to ) and you'll be putting a 1/4 shot in your acca just for the sake of getting the overall returns up. It's not worth it. I guarantee you'll make more in the long term by backing singles, doubles at most

    Hello followers,

Good news. In the coming days I will be starting a new run in the thread due to popular demand and several PMs from followers.

I recommend that followers get 100 quid and deposit into betfair or betdaq. Together we will turn that 100 into 500. Obviously I am using a higher sum of money but followers have to start somewhere.

Get ready for this risk-free earning to start this week. Exciting times for followers!

  5. Not yet.

I've not got round to it yet.

Other than not backing anything below 1/2 on a single or 1/3 on an accy I'm going on instinct and form at the minute.

Not doing bad, but could do better.

Why are you doing this? Without trying to preach, if you make a 1/2 shot value then you should be backing it. The golden rule is if you make it 5% value then back it. The actual price your backing should to some extent be irrelevant - it's the value behind the bet that should be the driving force behind the bet

  7. It's not really a question of value, I just don't fancy the chances of losing possibly £50 for a gain of just £25.

Though I use the ''value'' system for better odds. Last season I loaded up on City to win away at West Ham at evens, thinking it ought to have been around 4/6.

Because the gains are greater I'm more likely to have a bash, like most people.

Agree with Escobar but am guilty myself of looking for odds closer to the even money mark, I seldom back anything below 4/6!

Also sometimes go with my gut too, like today I thought Sheff Utd represented decent value against their neighbours who have lost their past 3 games, something told me Wednesday would get the win today and in the end I just stayed away from it.

Waiting on Napoli now for a treble with Osasuna and Chievo, all around that evs mark I mentioned.

Don't like it personally. I priced it up as Rios slight fav, something like 5/6 Rios purely because of how much bigger he'll be and it's Gamboa's first fight at lightweight. Gamboa is streets ahead as a boxer for me but there's a question mark over how much bigger Rios will be come fight night, hence why I make him slight fav. If Gamboa can handle the weight well, he'll pick Rios apart quite comfortably I think

Absa Lutti 14:30 Wolverhampton tomorrow.. Should be about 10/1. Worth 25 quid each way as it'll most likely win.
