End of the day Ricky is the type of fighter people look at and THINK he is beatable. I think he is a very deserving champion who when he fought Gonzalez he proved what a champion is and beat a more skilful boxer. He showed heart and grit. I think he lost the fight verus Beltran if im honest.

I think there is a lot at lightweight for Ricky win or lose v Crawford. But i think Ricky has experience and skillful enough to beat Crawford. If he wins then maybe a unifaction bout at lightweight. Mitchell is talking if he has a shot at IBF maybe a bout with Burns for both belts. I also think WBA Champion Abril is a beatable opponent. Then once he has gained a unified title. Maybe move up to Light Welterweight against Lamont Peterson.

I honestly think Lamont Peterson is beatable at that weight for Ricky he is made for him. 2014 could be a huge year for Ricky it really could. Good luck to him

We may as well post the picture of Gonzalez literally raising Burns hand as the victor after the fight

    (doubters? look it up)

We will beat Crawford,Crolla needs to earn himself a shot, even if the fights made I think it's a massive drop in class for Ricky, only unification or move up in weight would do in my eyes

Ricky Burns schools them all bar Flannigan. I believe Ricky would beat Flannigan but it would be hard to school him as to be honest hes technically unreal. The ability he has is scary and I think he can outbox most lightweights. Im scottish and although I believe he lost his last fight how anyone can slate him and compare any of these lightweights to him is unreal. Look what he did to Mitchell. He embaressed him. I like Matthews etc but please dont ever compare them to Ricky. There is levels and they are way under him. Crolla was getting caught at will in both fights with Derry and Burns handspeed and flurrys would stop him.
